Surf Fishing Clinics to Benefit Anglers for Conservation's Hook Kids on Fishing Programs
May 22 South Brevard Beaches June 12 North Brevard Beaches
Here's an excellent opportunity to learn more about surf fishing, while supporting the Angers for Conservation's Hook Kids on Fishing programs.
These traveling clinics will cover surf fishing from A-to-Z, while visiting a few of Brevard County's best surf fishing beaches. You'll learn how, where and when the professionals catch more pompano, whiting, snook, flounder, tarpon and a host of other species from the surf. You'll also see how they catch, preserve and use sand fleas, clams, shrimp, finger mullet and other popular baits. Everything from proper casting, rigging and fishing techniques, and how to choose and use the prefect lures in the surf, will be covered during these five-hour clinics.
Plus, you will receive a Surf Fishing Clinic Tackle bag and copies of Captain Rodney Smith's book Catching Made Easy and his Surf Fishing Hot Spot Map, (an estimated $50 value).
Each Surf Fishing Clinic costs $50. Sign up quickly because space is limited. The first twenty anglers to sign up for each clinic, gets a free chance to win a surf fishing combination and surf fishing tackle box donated by Sea Striker. We'll be raffling off a 12-foot Stellar Star Rod with an Aries reel spooled with line, plus a tackle box which includes the tackle needed to catch more fish in the surf, at each Surf Fishing Clinic!
Part of the Surf Fishing Clinic proceeds will be donated to the Anglers for Conservation's Hook Kids on Fishing programs. These programs have taught thousands of kids and their parents about fishing and conservation.
For more information on registration contact either John Detmer at (321) 777-5554; jdetmer@cfl.rr.com , or Capt. Rodney Smith at rodney@coastalanglermagazine.com
